Edmond Lau is a highly accomplished technology executive with over two decades of experience in driving software development, technology roadmaps, product strategies, and leadership across a range of industries. From early-stage startups to Fortune 100 companies, Edmond has worked at multiple large software development organizations and has made significant contributions to various vertical markets, including enterprise software-as-a-service, logistics, esports, marketplace, internet of things, media publishing, marketing technology, cryptocurrencies, customer relationship management, and financial technology.
Edmond's extensive experience includes serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of a startup that was acquired by Canada's largest cinema chain, as well as leading a startup from the pre-seed stage to Series A financing. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of software architects and technology leaders, and currently serves as an engineering mentor at Plato.
